Meet the Doctor - Dr. Michael A. Kremer, MD

Dr. Michael A. Kremer, M.D., is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a member of the Bavarian Medical Association. He is licensed to practice plastic surgery and is accredited by the Bavarian public health insurance association (KVB).

Dr. Kremer is a graduate from the Technical University of Munich Medical School. Due to his academic performance as a medical student, he received a privileged scholarship by a public German educational foundation.

This made it possible for him as a student to already get enrolled in clerkships at renowned plastic surgery units in the US, Sweden and Brazil. He moreover passed the US National Board Examinations (ECFMG) as well as the Federal Licensure Examination (FLEX).

Dr. Kremer did his residency in plastic surgery in Germany at the University of Hannover Medical School (MHH), one of the most well respected departments of plastic surgery in Germany. He later was elected to enroll in a highly competitive fellowship in craniofacial surgery with Prof. Kenneth E. Salyer, M.D., in Dallas, Texas. This training is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association.

Dr. Kremer then functioned as an attending at Medical City Dallas Hospital, spezializing in cosmetic surgery, craniofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery. 

After spending several years in the US, Dr. Kremer returned to his hometown of Munich. Since 2002 Dr. Michael Kremer, MD.

Dr. Michael A. Kremer, MD, is full member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRAEC), corresponding member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), international member of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons (ASMS) as well as international member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).

Since 2002 Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Munich has been a success story and has expanded to Frankfurt, London as well as to Dubai. Dr. Michael Kremer is medical director of our Munich clinic but frequently commutes to our other offices in order to hold clinics and train plastic surgeons there.
